Within the past month we have had conversations with Hospice, and on the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving met with them and enrolled Dawn with Hospice. Thus, within the past week she has begun the typical nurse visits, conversations with social workers and receiving help with some of the basic tasks of life.
As so many who have been with Hospice in the past, we are finding their help, presence and response to be beyond wonderful. They have added a spirit of joy and kindness, and we find ourselves encouraged after each visit.
